while waiting for papa..

i should be sleeping by now but since mama is not feeling well, i decided to look after her until papa comes home. so here i am, singing.. and typing..

hmm. i guess this is also the perfect time to share the things/learnings/experiences which i haven't shared yet.

*1st Feast with Mae:

i super thank mae for bringing me there. i felt like bo's talk was made especially for me. here are my notes from the said event:

- your body and your soul are one; what happens in your soul manifests in your body; every sickness that you have is a message from your soul
[enough said. all i could say is, I AGREE! if there's one person who could attest to bo's statement, that would be me!]

- when God heals your body, He also heals your emotion; when God heals you, He heals your body, but He heals your soul first
[for me it's the same thing as: when you are emotionally and spiritually healthy, no physical sickness can bring you down, so you have to be, first and foremost, seek for emotional and spiritual health which only God could provide.]

- you cannot see what you don't believe; to believe is to see!
[contrary to the famous statement, "to see is to believe", faith is actually about believing in the impossible. to believe is to see what is usually taken for granted - beauty beyond the most unpleasant event, blessing beyond the curse, love beyond all the hurt and pain. -woah! is this me talking? no. it is God talking. and yes, He's telling me that miracles happen and that i should always look at the brighter side of everything. keep the positive attitude! oh yeah. healthy living = choosing to see the beauty of life's mysteries and complexities]

Daniel 2:20-22.
Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,

truly, God is all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving. and nothing will ever compare to the joy, peace, and fulfillment that i have and feel right now because of Him. without a doubt, ONLY GOD SATISFIES!

Psalm 73:21-28.

Psalm 119:124-125.
Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy, and teach Me your statutes.
I am Your servant; give me understanding that I may know your testimonies.

this is also my prayer. and it's just amazing how God speaks to those who call upon Him. here's the verse i was led to after reading the above verse:

John 12:35-36.
Then Jesus said to them, "a little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where He is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light."

and we know for a fact that Jesus is the light of the world. let Him be our example. let us walk with Him! ang galing no? ang bilis ng answer ni God. nakakatuwa talaga. true enough, the Bible is God's word and it is but proper for us to read it everyday, as often as we can, because it is one of the most powerful instruments that God uses to communicate with us. like what the bulletin board in UP says, "Experience the light. Read the Bible." ^_^

Proverbs 21:2.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.

what is important is the condition of our hearts. God is looking into our hearts, not on the external aspects of our lives. just like what the song "Heart of Worship" says, "You're looking into my heart.."

also, the judgment of other people is not as important as the judgment of God. because the standards of men, are not God's.
