karma is real.

last friday was a happy friday. it was dan's birthday, and we (tweet2) celebrated with him and his family. todo videoke kame ni bebi (leyn) habang si alpha naman ay nagpapaka-kj. haha. dito kame sa bahay natulog ni alpha. dapat si leyn din kaya lang pinapauwi na siya ng kanyang "daddy". ^_^ anyway, ano ang koneksyon ng title sa post na ito? haha.

the moral of the story is: may consequence talaga lahat ng ginagawa natin. may punishments and rewards, depending on our actions.

sabi nga ni mae, she wonders daw kung bakit ganun lagi yung theme ng mga nababasa niya, sa tingin ko naman, God just assures her that justice will be served in due time. so, sa lahat ng pain na na-cause sa kanya ng ibang tao, may kapalit yun. likewise, may reward din siyang makukuha for every good deed she has done. ^_^

eto naman yung nabasa ko: Ecclesiastes 10:7-10 ("So man goes forward to his eternal home")

the passage says that as much as we need to enjoy life on earth, we should also be mindful of our actions. kasi nga, may consequence lahat ng ginagawa natin. karma is real. do good and you will receive good karma, do otherwise, and you'll receive bad karma.

verse 9: "Rejoice, young man, in your youth and direct well your heart when you are young; follow your desires and achieve your ambitions but recall that God will take account of all you do."

a simple reminder and challenge na rin for us to enjoy the world, and at the same time, remain righteous and holy individuals. i remember a quote from In His Steps, na-share ko na 'to before, share ko uli, "You can be in the world but not OF the world." ^_^

"Conclusion: fear God and obey His precepts; for man depends entirely on this. God brings out every deed to judgment, all that is hidden, be it good or bad."
