love hurts...

*thoughts on men, relationships, and the overused, yet usually misunderstood word/concept/feeling/abstract noun - love!

i should have done this long ago. i wonder what kept me from writing something about one of the most popular/favorite topics of all. hmm. could it be that i'm still hurting? i guess not. maybe i just wanted to be silent then. (sawa na kasi ako sa issue, lagi na lang kasi e. kamusta naman? may sabihin/gawin ako o wala, big deal pa rin. ang hirap talagang maging artista. haha. yeah! just laugh it off, aiza! ^_^)

just some thoughts..

recently, i've come to realize the following:

*when you love, you give, and at the same time, you lose.. but most of all, you gain!
**you give: your time, your money, your loyalty, your effort, your love (of course!), your all (how many people have already uttered the line, "i gave him/her everything.."?)
**you lose: all that you have given, and sometimes, even more than that.. in worse cases, you lose yourself..
**you gain: memories, lessons, experience, realizations, and the best of all, wisdom! (along with it comes the great opportunity to make yourself better)

*lying, even if you claim that you're just "trying to protect" somebody else's feelings, IS STILL LYING. [enough said. i would no longer elaborate on this one, i may not be able to control myself. haha. -eto ang nasa isip ko kagabi. pero ngayon, iba na. dadaldal na talaga ako! hehe.]
**if you think you're being good by pretending that nothing has changed when in fact everything is no longer the same, well, think again! dahil mas masakit yung pagmukhain mong tanga ang isang tao by doing things na hindi na dapat. SAY WHAT YOU MEAN, and MEAN WHAT YOU SAY! ano ba namang mahirap sa pag-amin diba? hindi mo na problema kung masaktan man yung tao o hindi. dahil in the end, lalabas din naman yung totoo. at mas masasaktan lang yung tao dahil niloko mo siya!

example: you and your bf/gf broke up and decided to be friends (which, by the way, i think, is not a good decision). and because you're still friends, you still talk and see each other regularly. then, one of you finds another "love" (kuno!).. ok. para mas malinaw, etong si guy ay nakahanap ng ibang gusto. tama bang ilihim niya 'to kay girl, i mean kay ex, at magpretend na walang nagbago sa samahan nila kahit pa umabot na sa puntong sila na nitong bagong girl? [gets ba? haha. basta yun.] di ba, HINDI! kasi isa yung malinaw na PANLOLOKO! tapos may pasabi-sabi pang, "sabihin mo lang kung ayaw mo siya para sken, ititigil ko 'to." c'mon!

don't give me reasons like, "i don't want to hurt you that's why i didn't tell..", "i'm just trying to protect your feelings..", blah blah, because i won't buy them! kamote! you already hurt me when we broke up, and now you're gonna tell me that you don't want to hurt me? you're one big liar! (i'm speaking not just for myself but also for those who share the same sentiments.. lalo na sa soul sister ko, who, by the way, was my inspiration in posting this entry.) kung totoong special/MAHALAGA sa'yo ang isang tao, magiging TOTOO ka sa kanya. yun lang. napaka-simple naman diba?

may isa pang pwedeng dahilan: mahal ka pa (raw) niya pero hindi na kayo pwede kaya hanap na lang muna siya ng iba. tapos ano? hindi niya papaalam na "sila" na nga para pwede ka pa niyang balikan kung kelan niya gusto. ano ka? gulong? reserba? isa na namang malaking kalokohan!

bottomline: magpakatotoo! dahil ang taong sinungaling, hindi pinagkakatiwalaan.

*trust is given to the one who deserves it, unfortunately, not everyone deserves it.

*kaya be careful. because you'll never know when a good friend becomes a traitor. wala lang. nakakalungkot lang kapag nasira ang tiwala mo sa isang taong tinuring mong kaibigan. at kelan nga ba nasisira ang tiwala? syempre kapag hindi siya nagsabi ng totoo. alam niyo na yun. hehe.

*love is not a game. stop playing.
*at hindi rin laruan ang mga tao. yun lang po. ^_^

*people ARE people. they are not THINGS!
*we were created in the image and likeness of God. we are special. we are loved by an Everlasting Father. hindi tayo BAGAY na pwedeng gamitin, sirain, at itapon na lang basta. gusto ko lang ipaalala sa mga nakakalimot. ^_^

ayun lang. tsaka na lang siguro yung iba. kung may maisip pa ako. hehe.

to those who have been hurt before and have asked themselves, "how did i ever fall in love with such a loser??", welcome to my life! haha. joke! bigla ko lang naalala yung simple plan. and i realized, i miss the old days.. *sigh*

anyway, here's what i have to tell you: be thankful for the heartaches! be thankful for those who have caused you deep pain. because of them, you are stronger and wiser now! forgive. let go. move on. life goes on. just remember one thing: GOD LOVES US DEARLY! the world may fail us but God's love will never ever fail. HE IS PERFECT. ONLY HE CAN SATISFY ALL OUR NEEDS. if you want to experience true love, seek God. LOVE HIM, and life will be more meaningful, more worth living. ^_^

lahat ng nangyari, nangyayari, at mangyayari sa buhay naten ay may magandang dahilan at aral. MATUTO TAYO! ayos lang magkamali, parte ng buhay yan. just make sure that you learn from every wrong decision and every bad move that you've done.

21 Things Girls Don't Realize (i say, "21 Lies Girls Should Watch Out For" hehe.)
1) Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about....(c'mon! lokohin niyo sarili niyo!)

2) Guys are more emotional than you think, if they loved you at one point, it'll take them a lot longer than you think to let you go, and it hurts every second that they try. (why, in the first place, did they let us go?)

3) Guys go crazy over a girl's smile. (e ano naman?! haha.)

4) A guy who likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to. (ah ganun? tapos siya ok lang na makipag-usap sa iba? isn't it selfishness?)

5) Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?..uh...nevermind.." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying
to figure it out. (aba e, problema na nya yun! haha.)

6) If a guy tells you about his problems, he just needs someone to listen to him. You don't need to give advice. (ok. hehe.)

7) A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you. (sabi nga nila. bulok na style na 'yan! haha.)

8) GUYS LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU LOVE THEM!!! (patunayan niyo! wag niyong sabihin!)

9) Guys use words like hot or cute to describe girls. They rarely use beautiful or gorgeous. If a guy uses that, he loves you or likes you a whole heck of a lot. (dapat ba kameng matuwa? wow! nakaka-flatter, salamat! haha. ganun ba dapat? hehe.)

10)If the guy does something stupid in front of the girl, he will think about it for the next couple days or until the next time he spends time with the girl.

11)If a guy looks unusually calm and laid back, he's probably faking it and he is really thinking about something. (so?)

12) When a guy says he is going crazy about the girl, he really is.Guys rarely say that. (ah ganun?)
